Accessibility Statement
MediCheckMe aims to make the current GP Ready appointment-preparation conversation, medical profile, reports and blood-pressure diary usable by people with different access needs. We use WCAG 2.2 AA as an improvement target; this statement does not claim an independent accessibility audit has been completed.
What we support
- Adjustable text size, line spacing and word spacing
- High contrast, dark mode and grayscale display modes
- Dyslexia-friendly font option
- Epilepsy Safe Mode that removes flashing, pulsing and auto-moving content
- ADHD Friendly Mode that reduces distractions and adds a reading guide
- Cognitive Disability Mode with a simplified layout
- Visible focus indicators and keyboard-accessible controls on principal GP Ready pages
- Headings, labels and landmarks in the main GP Ready patient workflow
- Display preferences that may be remembered on your device
Known limitations
- Third-party content and authentication screens may not match all accessibility preferences
- Text-to-speech uses your browser's built-in speech engine, which varies by device
- The GP Ready AI conversation, expandable emergency warnings, report-PDF controls and BP charts need independent keyboard/screen-reader testing
